The Philosophy:

• Zero Algorithms: Unlike social media, RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a chronological stream where you decide what to read, not a black-box engagement algorithm.
• Zero Tracking: Email subscriptions create a database record of your identity; RSS is a "pull" request where you fetch data on your own terms.
• Privacy-Centric Metrics: We utilize Umami Analytics, a cookie-less and anonymized tool that allows us to see our reach without compromising your perimeter.
• Hardened Outbound Links: To protect your pattern of interest, we utilize rel="noreferrer" for all external citations and strictly DO NOT use outbound link tagging.
  • This ensures that when you click a link to a government memo or a news report, the target site receives zero information about where you came from.
  • By refusing to "tag" links, we deprive data brokers of the ability to bridge your visit here with your activity elsewhere on the web.
• Full Content: We respect your time; our feed contains the full article text and images so you never have to leave your hardened reader.

SO, HOW DO I SIGN UP....?

Step 1: Select an App

To read RSS, you need a "Newsreader." We strictly recommend Free & Open Source Software (FOSS).

For Android (GrapheneOS / Stock) The Gold Standard.

1. Install F-Droid (The FOSS App Store).
2. Search for and install Read You (Modern, customizable, & user-friendly) or Feeder (Robust, lightweight).

For iOS & macOS The Gold Standard for iOS.

1. Install NetNewsWire. It's free, open-source, and blocks all tracking pixels by default.

For Linux/Power Users Terminal standard.

1. Newsboat: If you live in the CLI, this is the way. Vim keybindings supported.

Step 2: The Connection

Once you have your app installed:

1. Open your Reader App.
2. Tap Add Subscription (usually a + icon).
3. Paste the URL: https://provisionalrecord.com/rss/

That’s it. You now have a direct, uncensored line to Provisional Record. No middlemen, no spam, just the signal.

⚠️ OPSEC WARNING: THE "REFERRER" SHIELD

While we use rel="noreferrer", most of the web does not.

• The Risk: When you navigate away from this site to a secondary source, that source's own trackers may still attempt to fingerprint your browser.
