About us.
The train is headed for the cliff. The conductor has a parachute.
We are living through a legal blitzkrieg. A deliberate, high-speed campaign of radical policy pushes, international violations, and manufactured chaos. The noise is deafening, and that appears to be the point. The goal is not mere cruelty, though that is often the result.
The goal is distraction.
While we are kept fighting amongst ourselves, distracted by the price of groceries, the endless culture wars, and the scramble for survival, the machine of the state is rapidly evolving in the background.
The Provisional Record exists as an attempt to heed the warning of the path ahead.
The Distraction vs. The Reality
The ultra-wealthy rely on our exhaustion. They rely on the ants fighting amongst ourselves, so that we don't notice what appears to be the absolute capture of power by the Executive Branch.
The Shadow: We see the ghost of the Epstein files, partially unsealed in 2024, and a total of only approximately 1% of the related files released by the end of 2025. All of this is largely ignored by a fatigued public, but we are forced to ask the terrifying question: Are our world leaders, allies, and domestic officials compromised by their pasts?
Does the silence suggest they are paralyzed by blackmail? Or worse, does it suggest that they are active participants?
We witness Virginia Giuffre, a primary accuser of Jeffrey Epstein and a tireless advocate for survivors, tragically end her life, just at the buildup to a memoir that cost Former Prince Andrew his titles.
The Enforcement Shift: We observe the reported lowering of recruitment standards for ICE, waiving of polygraphs for high-level security roles, and the militarization of federal agents. We are witnessing the welcoming of extremists into the layers of government enforcement. The dog whistles of white supremacy are no longer subtle. Through the shadow docket, racism appears to have been sanctioned as the supreme law of the land.
The Mirror of History
Reality may soon prove that two of the greatest mistakes we ever made were the failure to prosecute the Confederates after the Civil War (cemented by the Compromise of 1877) and the integration of Nazi scientists and leadership after World War II under Operation Paperclip (1945-1959).
Today, we are watching the demons of our past return. We see an administration wage war on a sovereign nation, with actions that suggest an intent to capture and profit from its resources.
We see the rhetoric of the 1930s hand-washed through modern press releases. The parallel is not just "eerie." It suggests a direct continuation of the work of Alfred Rosenberg.
Rosenberg, the "Architect of Ideological Succession," authored The Myth of the Twentieth Century (1930), standing alongside Mein Kampf as a foundational text of the Reich. He did not view their ideology as merely nationalistic. He believed the "Nordic-Atlantic" spirit was a global force that transcended the borders of Germany.
We are watching that spirit manifest again today, stripped of the swastika but retaining the soul of the Reich.
Why We Keep the Record
I am under no illusions. The American experiment is faltering. But reality is evidence-based, and the greater context is everything.
If we cannot stop the train, we must at least document the crash. We must connect the dots between the "legal blitzkrieg," the surveillance state, and the rise of authoritarianism.
We do this so that when the dust settles, there is a record.
We do this so the citizens of the future know that not all Americans agreed to it.
This is the Provisional Record.
